This full-time position requires no previous experience and offers the freedom of outdoor work and dealing with new situations everyday. The excitement and adventure that comes with working as a professional wildlife control technician is unmatched by any other occupation.

Project management duties include communicating with and meeting new clients, evaluating problems and developing strategies for resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect buildings and outside areas of property to detect signs of wildlife intrusion.
  • Humanely remove and exclude wildlife from homes and structures.
  • Repair wildlife damage and wildlife-proof entry points.
  • Advise clients on how to prevent or limit wildlife encounters in or around their home.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work in various weather conditions.
  • Operate in confined spaces including attics and crawlspaces.
  • Use of power/hand tools, insulation/restoration equipment.
  • Job assignments may include positions such as crouching, squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing up & down ladders, carrying ladders and other equipment.
  • Direct and/or assist your colleagues.
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies.

 

Requirements:

  • High-School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility with hours.
  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Comply with all Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control policies and procedures, as well as Federal and Provincial legislation and regulations.

Living with unwanted wildlife can be a scary and stressful situation for homeowners and no two situations are the same. That’s why every job starts with a thorough inspection of the client’s property including the roof and attic to develop a customized game plan to solve their wildlife issues.

 

Once we have a handle on the situation, Skedaddle’s Residential Sales Reps take the time to educate and discuss our recommendations with clients. We offer a full-service solution that includes removal, cleanup and prevention against future intrusion. Our methods and procedures have been proven over 30 years in business and are approved by Humane Societies and SPCAs throughout Canada.

 

This is not door-to-door sales. You will be meeting with qualified leads generated through Skedaddle’s marketing channels. Our customer’s come to us with a problem they need solved and they are prepared to make a decision there and then.

 

Skedaddle offers a full training program so no previous experience with wildlife is required. We’re looking for positive and passionate individuals who enjoy meeting new people each day and helping them solve their wildlife problems.

This is a true field service role. Most of your time will be spent on the road meeting with prospective clients.

 

Responsibilities

  • Meeting with new customers to help them remove and exclude wildlife from their home
  • Identifying and presenting cross-sell opportunities
  • Following up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and close open quotes
  • Achieving sales goals

 

Qualifications

  • Physically fit – able to climb ladders and inspect attics
  • G driver’s license in good standing
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Handy with the ability to problem solve
  • Organized
  • Self-motivated
  • Previous residential sales experience a plus
