Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control has been solving wildlife problems for homeowners and business owners for over 30 years, and in that time, we’ve built something much bigger than just a service company—we’ve built a team and a workplace where people can build meaningful, long-term careers. Our new team members have the opportunity to grow from entry-level roles into more senior positions, supported every step of the way as they develop their skills, knowledge and experience. We’re proud to offer a workplace environment where growth isn’t just possible—it’s expected.
Our team is made up of people from all kinds of backgrounds. In fact, many of our team members began their careers in completely different industries—construction, customer service, sales, hospitality, and more. What they all have in common is a willingness to learn, work hard, and be part of a crew that cares. At Skedaddle there is no single background that best suits the job. If you love working outdoors, solving problems, or helping people, there’s a place for you here.
At Skedaddle, most careers begin in one of four core roles:

As a consumer service representative you will be the first connection a client has with Skedaddle – you’ll be helping over the phone and through email, answering questions, scheduling appointments, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll act as the bridge between clients and the field team, ensuring clear communication and accurate information at every step.
This role is a great fit for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and knows how to stay calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment. The position works especially well for individuals who are strong communicators and comfortable multitasking, as well as those looking for flexibility and the ability to work from home. For people who thrive in a team-oriented setting and enjoy being the person others rely on, this role will be incredibly rewarding.
If you enjoy problem-solving and working with clients in a more consultative way, our Wildlife Specialist role might be the right fit.
This is no desk job, as a Wildlife Specialist, you will be on the move, meeting with homeowners, understanding their situation, and designing the solution. Your days will involve inspecting properties, identifying entry points, assessing damage, and walking homeowners through a customized plan that solves the issue for good. Since every home is different, and every wildlife problem comes with its own challenges, each day as a Wildlife Specialist offers something new and unique.
This role is well suited to someone who is naturally curious and detail-oriented—someone who notices the small things others might miss. It tends to attract strong problem-solvers who enjoy thinking critically and adapting to new situations each day. You will be constantly meeting with new clients and guiding them through decisions, making it an ideal role for someone who thrives working with others and meeting new people.

This is where many careers at Skedaddle begin.
As a Wildlife Removal Technician, your days are hands-on, active, and always different. You’ll be out in the field, executing the plan laid out by the wildlife specialist. A typical day will involve safely removing wildlife from a home, sealing the home against re-entry and repairing any damage. Every day is different—you could be working in an attic removing raccoons one day, and in a crawlspace removing mice the next.
You don’t need to come in with prior experience—we provide comprehensive training, mentorship, and the tools and equipment needed to succeed. New team members go through a hands-on training and skills development period, working alongside experienced technicians before taking on jobs independently.
This role naturally suits people who enjoy being outdoors and staying active, who don’t mind getting their hands dirty, and who take pride in solving problems on the spot. It’s also a great fit for those who enjoy working with people, since a big part of the job is building trust with homeowners, explaining the process, and helping them feel confident their home is protected. For someone looking to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career, this role offers a strong foundation with ample room to grow within the company.
Pest control is all about precision, consistency, and solving problems before they escalate.
Similarly to Wildlife Technicians, as a Pest Control Technician, your days are active, independent, and focused on identifying and resolving pest issues. You’ll be out in the field inspecting for signs of activity, developing detailed treatment plans, and executing them effectively. A typical day might include assessing an active issue, applying targeted treatments, and putting preventative measures in place to stop problems before they return.
You’ll also spend time communicating with clients —explaining what you’ve found, the treatment plan, and how they can prevent future issues. While you’ll often work independently, delivering clear, professional service is a big part of the role.
Much of the work is commercial-focused, meaning you’ll often be working in larger facilities rather than residential homes. No two sites are exactly the same, so attention to detail and a methodical approach are key to doing the job well. Depending on your location, licensing or certifications may be required. This role is a strong fit for someone who manages their time well, is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.
At Skedaddle, this isn’t just a job—it’s a place to build a career.
We’re not looking for one specific type of person or background. Our team is made up of individuals from all kinds of industries and different levels of experience. What matters most is your attitude, your willingness to learn, and your commitment to doing meaningful work in your local community.
Whether you start in the field, in sales, or on the customer service team, there are real opportunities to grow, develop new skills, and move forward in your career.
If you’re looking for a role where your work makes a real impact—and where no two days are the same—we’d love to hear from you.
