Call your pediatrician once your child has developed flu-like illness after coming into contact with a mouse nest or droppings. Doctors use blood tests to identify the virus. Most children fully recover from an LSM infection. There is no medication proven to scure the condition. Patients will need supportive care or hospitalization in more severe cases.
