Step One: Assess and Remove
Raccoons have very manipulative, nimble-fingered paws, which allow them to open jars, garbage cans and even door latches. They are also relatively strong and will rip up shingles, wood, soffit, and flashing, to gain entrance into your home, causing significant damage to your property in the process. Our wildlife technicians will make a home visit to thoroughly assess your property and identify any raccoon damage and potential entry points. If they find any raccoons on your property, they will safely and humanely remove them, ensuring that all the kits (baby raccoons) are kept with their mother. The kits are removed using a heated baby box and this allows the mother to safely relocate the litter to one of her alternative den sites. Raccoon mothers are very protective of their young and therefore it is essential to remove all kits from the property to prevent the mother from trying to gain re-entry. Removal is the most effective and economical form raccoon control. [caption id="attachment_16289" align="aligncenter" width="630"]
