Skedaddle Wildlife in the Oakville Community
In 2011, increased complaints from residents about wildlife lead the Town of Oakville to develop an official wildlife strategy. As part of the implementation, Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control Founder and President, Bill Dowd was invited to present to the Council Chamber at Town Hall about wildlife damage, disease and prevention techniques. Since then Skedaddle has spoken at other events hosted by the Town of Oakville in effort to provide homeowners with tips and techniques for preventing conflict with urban wildlife.
Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control is also a supporter and partner of the Oakville & Milton Humane Society. We are proud to work with them to promote the humane treatment of animals and support their public education efforts. We show our support by attending the Oakville and Milton Mutt Strutt events, presenting at summer and March break camps and donating Christmas lights for their annual Tree of Lights festival.
