Wildlife Neighbours in the Markham Area

Just like the rest of the York Region, Markham is home to many interesting animals. Unfortunately, if they are in your home or on your property, they can pose a health risk. Many of these animals enjoy building a cozy nest or den on your property or even in your attic. Some of the most common wildlife found in the area that may require professional removal services from your property include raccoons, squirrels, mice, bats, birds, and skunks.

These wild animals can become very territorial when cornered. They’re also known carriers of a wide range of diseases and pests. You can admire these furry residents of Markham from a distance, but it’s best to work with our team at Skedaddle if you suspect a nest in your home or on your property.

How To Humanely Tell Wildlife To Move on

It may start with an unusual sound or signs of droppings, but before long a wildlife tenant becomes unmistakable. Thankfully, you have a team of experienced technicians in your area who can use proven techniques to tell wildlife to scram.

It’s typically obvious if you have an animal living in your attic or basement, but you may not realize the extent of the infestation. We can carefully inspect your entire home for signs of mice, raccoons and other visitors. Once we get an idea of the extent of the issue, we can create humane strategies to remove them from your property.

These messy housemates often leave behind chewed material, crushed insulation, nest debris and feces. All of this can pass on dangerous diseases and compromise the safety of your home. It takes more than traditional cleaning solutions to thoroughly sanitize and disinfect a former wildlife home, and our team can assist to be sure your property is safe.

When my mom and I found out about the raccoons and squirrels running around in the attic we phoned around to see whom was the best to call we got turned down and ignored from other companies. Then we called skedaddle and they said it would be no problem for them to come right away and solve our issue. They did a very fast professional good job.
